Electric Power Vehicle Generators
PowerAll Ltd designs and manufactures a wide range of power conversion equipment for the emergency services, utilities and construction industries.
Based in York, England, all manufacturing of electric power vehicle generators is local and the company philosophy is to work closely with customers to design for their evolving requirements.
The PowerAll system was introduced in 1996 and, during this short period, the system has become recognised as a market leader in vehicle mounted electric power vehicle generation, supplying into markets such as Fire and Rescue, Police, Road Rail, Meals on Wheels and the Military.
The PowerAll system can turn your vehicle into a mobile generator.
Using an additional alternator driven by the vehicle engine the power generated is converted into stable mains type electricity. Systems are available to generate 3kVA, 4kVA, 5kVA, 6kVA and up to 12kVA when two alternators are added.
The systems are small adding very little weight to the vehicle and taking up very little space.
No additional fuel has to be carried and the equipment benefits from use of the efficient vehicle exhaust system. The Health and Safety advantages of generating mobile power using the PowerAll system are considerable.
PowerAll Ltd, backed by it's associate company's long term electronic engineering expertise, is committed to a continual program of research and development. Consequently both in-house and customer led developments ensure that the PowerAll system is best suited to cater for specific end-user requirements for Electric Power Vehicle Generators.
We can supply mounting brackets for a wide range of vehicles - and have the expertise to develop brackets for your specific vehicle.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require more detailed information. We can also arrange for our demonstration vehicle to visit your premises, where you can observe for yourself just how good the PowerAll is for the supply of Electric Power Vehicle Generators.
The use of mains type power on vehicles tends to fall into two major areas determined by the voltage regime.
110 Volt (55-055) power is normally used for lighting, due to the low cost and high efficiency of 110 Volt lighting equipment, and for tools, due to the safety associated with 55-0-55 Volt supplies.
PowerAll Ltd have developed a high speed kettle for use with 110 Volt Supplies.
230 Volt power is normally used with vehicles using standard mains measuring equipment, computers, displays, communication equipment, air conditioning, kettles etc due to wide availability of this type of equipment.
230 Volt systems are normally permanently wired into the vehicle. If tools are required to be powered from the vehicle these tools should be 110 Volt and should be supplied via an isolation transformer.
If you have any concerns or queries about the use of specific equipment please contact our Technical Department on 01904 623551 or tech@powerall.co.uk
We are happy to test any equipment for you at our Development Department in York or we can visit you with our demonstration vehicle.
